What We Do
How we work
A Chance for Change Foundation provides individuals with training and the needed support to build financial independence.
We fight poverty by ensuring that our people experience economic justice through agriculture and other initiatives. We also advocate for fair policies and amplify marginalized groups’ voices to effect long-term change.
We have impacted 3,500 people directly through 12 projects across 7 provinces in Zambia. From 2025 to 2030, we are working to reduce poverty in Zambia by at least 0.26%, lifting over 10,000 individuals out of poverty.
Our central theme is to fight poverty and create a level playing field for all through sustainable economic opportunities, digital inclusion, advocacy, education, and partnerships with local and international organizations and traditional leaders.
We believe that if more people are empowered, Zambia will prosper.
A Chance for Change Foundation impact areas
A Chance for Change Foundation’s six impact areas drive progress towards our overall goal to fight poverty. We focus on these specific impact areas for two reasons. Firstly, because they are critical barriers to fighting poverty, and secondly, because they are areas where the foundation has developed world-class expertise at all levels of our global network.

Economic justice through agriculture
A Chance for Change Foundation is committed to fighting poverty in Zambia by empowering small-scale farmers through sustainable agricultural methods and wider market access to boost their incomes and livelihoods.

Skills for growth and empowerment
We empower individuals, particularly women and youth, through vocational training programs that promote financial independence while providing them with the skills needed to develop successful careers and improve their communities.

Digital inclusion for all
A Chance for Change Foundation is committed to bridging the digital gap in Zambia by providing digital skills training to rural and underserved areas so that everyone can succeed in a digital economy.

Food and nutrition security
We fight poverty in Zambia by supporting sustainable food production and increasing access to nutritious, locally sourced food, enabling people to improve their health.

Climate resilience & sustainability
A Chance for Change Foundation is dedicated to addressing the effects of climate change on agricultural communities in Zambia by promoting climate-resilient agricultural practices and sustainable resource management, allowing those most at risk to survive and thrive despite the hazards of unpredictable weather patterns and environmental challenges.

Advocacy & inclusive development
We believe in sustainable growth through inclusive policies and social empowerment, with a focus on advocating for fair policies and amplifying marginalized groups' voices to effect long-term change.
