A Chance for Change Foundation is committed to bridging the digital gap in Zambia by providing digital skills training to rural and underserved areas so that everyone can succeed in a digital economy.
In an increasingly digital world, access to technology and digital skills is a crucial factor in creating economic opportunities. However, many communities in Zambia, especially rural areas and marginalized groups, still face barriers to accessing the internet and learning digital skills. Why Digital Inclusion Matters
The digital divide in Zambia presents significant challenges, particularly for youth and women, who often have limited access to the tools and training needed to participate fully in today’s job market. Bridging this gap is vital to ensure equal opportunities for everyone, particularly those in underserved and rural communities. When we empower individuals with digital skills, we open up new pathways for employment, entrepreneurship, and social inclusion.
Our Approach to Digital Inclusion
At A Chance for Change Foundation, we focus on providing digital literacy programs that equip individuals with the skills needed to access and excel in the modern economy. Our Digital Horizons initiative aims to offer a wide range of digital skills training, from basic computer literacy to advanced coding and cybersecurity skills.
Our Programs & Initiatives
Digital Skills Training: We offer a variety of training programs tailored to different skill levels and needs, ensuring that participants can find opportunities suited to their aspirations and backgrounds:
Data Analytics: Participants learn how to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions, equipping them for roles in business, research, and technology.
Cybersecurity: In a world where online threats are increasingly prevalent, we train participants in how to protect themselves and others online. These skills are critical for employment in industries such as tech and finance.
Programming & Coding: Our coding workshops teach participants to develop software, websites, and apps, providing them with the foundational skills needed for high-demand tech jobs.
